New Law, New Connections…

Not only did 2020 show the world a new virus but new property laws came into place too including new landlords’ regulations to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected. This applied to all new tenancies from July 2020 and will be applied in all existing tenancies from April 2021.

EICR stands for Electrical Installation Condition Report and will identify any damage, deterioration, defects and/or conditions which may give rise to danger along with observations for which improvement is recommended.

The new regulations require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected and tested by a qualified company, at least every 5 years. Landlords must provide a copy of the electrical safety report to their tenants, and also to their local authority if requested.

Since becoming a Limited company in 2016, Pulse Electrix have diverse their connections and have built strong relationships with Landlords and Estate Agents to help and assist on making each property a safe environment, firstly by completing a report and then following up with any remedial works that may be necessary. Pulse Electrix currently work alongside Normie & Co, Belvoir, Delisa Miller, Pearson Ferrier which is just to name a few.

There is still time to reach out and get any EICR booked in with Pulse Electrix within the North West area, as we would be happy to help and build further relationships within the Property Industry.

In the words of Rosalynn Carter ‘There is nothing more important than a good, safe, secure home.’
